What is VECTRA?

VECTRA is a medical-grade 3D photography and simulation system developed by Canfield Scientific, Inc. in the United States. Images captured with a dedicated multi-lens camera are analyzed in three dimensions in real time, visualizing your face and body as a high-precision 3D image. In cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, it is utilized for pre-operative simulation of various Treatments such as nose, facial contour, eye area, and breast augmentation, and is adopted by clinics around the world.

Issues solved by 3D simulation

One of the most common troubles in cosmetic surgery is "image mismatch." With verbal or 2D photo explanations, the final result image may not align between patient and doctor. VECTRA performs simulation on 3D images before surgery, allowing you to visually confirm fine details such as "how it will look if the height is changed by 2mm" or "what happens if the alar width is slightly adjusted." This significantly reduces the risk of post-operative "this isn't what I expected."

Flow from photography to simulation

A 3D image is generated in approximately 5 minutes with just a few seconds of photography using a dedicated camera. No additional visits or waiting time are required. The generated image can be manipulated in real time on dedicated software. You can confirm the current state by rotating it at any angle—front, side, diagonal—and simultaneously perform simulation by virtually adjusting the height of the nasal tip and facial contour lines.
