Few side effects
The raw material of polylactic acid, the ingredient in Juvelook, uses 'lactic acid' obtained by fermenting the starch of root crops such as corn, potatoes, and sugarcane, so it has excellent biocompatibility and few side effects, which is its characteristic. In addition, the particles of Juvelook are round and structured so as not to cause excessive damage to surrounding cells, minimizing the risk of granuloma formation and lumps (subcutaneous induration).
High safety, long-lasting effect
Polylactic acid, the ingredient, is also used in dissolvable thread lifts and surgical sutures, and it is approved by the FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration), equivalent to Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and Korea's MFDS, making it a highly safe product. In addition, after injection it slowly breaks down into water and carbon dioxide over about 1-2 years, so there is no concern of it remaining in the body, and a long-lasting effect can be expected.
Local injection is possible
MAClume, which is also a polylactic acid product, is a Potenza-exclusive agent and local injection is not permitted. However, Juvelook supports local injection, so it can pinpoint and address localized acne scars (unevenness), pores on the nose or cheeks, and so on.
