Plastic surgery is a specialty that reconstructs abnormalities, deformities, and defects of the body surface through surgery, addressing not only appearance but also function. Specifically, it includes reconstruction after malignant tumor resection, pediatric congenital conditions such as cleft lip/palate and polydactyly, facial fractures from trauma, and surgery on every part of the body such as foot gangrene, axillary osmidrosis, and blepharoptosis.
Among these, I handled many surgeries for facial fractures, breast reconstruction, and blepharoptosis, pursuing excellence not only in surgical technique but also in planning and surgical outcomes.
When patients I cared for had appearance-related insecurities they had carried since birth improved through surgery and thanked me with smiles I had never seen before, I experienced firsthand as a medical professional how resolving appearance concerns can brighten a person even on the inside, and I resolved to pursue cosmetic surgery.
