In order to become a cosmetic surgeon, I first chose to train as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, spending seven years honing my skills at a university hospital, an emergency critical care center, a children's hospital, and a regional core hospital.In my tenth year as a physician, I transitioned to cosmetic surgery with the goal of applying the diverse knowledge and skills I had gained as a plastic surgeon to the field of aesthetic medicine.
