I decided to become a physician because I believed it was a path where I could truly feel, firsthand, that I was making a difference in people's lives.Among the various fields of medicine, aesthetic medicine stood out to me because it offers patients a better version of themselves — a self they can feel more confident and happy about — and that appeal is what drew me to this world.After becoming a physician, I joined a university hospital to study plastic surgery, which forms the academic foundation of cosmetic surgery. Following the completion of my initial residency, I spent six years honing my skills as a plastic surgeon at a tertiary emergency-designated hospital.I gained broad clinical experience spanning congenital conditions, severe trauma, and aesthetic medicine, and in the process I also obtained board certification as a specialist in plastic surgery. I am a full member of the Japanese Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (JSAPS), through which I have also authored academic papers.QOL (Quality of Life) can improve remarkably once you address the things that have been weighing on you.
